A Contemporary Front Door

We recently made and fitted this clean-lined, solid european oak entrance door and frame for clients who lives just down the road from Bath Bespoke here in Winsley.

Our clients were completely renovating their 1950’s home with stunning views over the Limpley Stoke valley here on the edge of Bath. We had a fairly open brief for the design, and after a bit of discussion our client settled on a framed, ledge and braced door, boarded on both sides. The finished look is a satisfying blend of traditional material in a contemporary style. As functional as it is beautiful – this front door incorporates high performance insulation materials and top of the range glass.

One of our most skilled joiners here at Bath Bespoke, Ollie was responsible for making this and a matching door just inside the porch. Good job.
