Let there be light…

Ollie Davidson recently made this lovely glazed timber entrance door for a house very close to the Bath Bespoke workshops here in Winsley.

Tom’s brief was to design a new door which would fill the entrance hall with light. He specified solid sustainable hardwood and large panes of double glazing, making full use of the existing opening by incorporating a curved panel over the top.

Our client wanted a soft lichen-colour paint finish which was applied here in the workshop by Luke and Adam before we fitted the door. We installed the huge panes of glass on site due to the size and weight of the units. We think it looks fantastic and hope you agree.
