Contemporary solid oak and crown cut veneer dresser. A secret location…

Posted by Bath Bespoke on 1 April 2016

We have been having a lot of fun on one of our most recent projects, however due to the private nature of our client the only information we can provide you is about the beautiful piece itself, although if you keep your eyes on the T.v and tablet screen over the next few months you might just spot it! But that’s all your getting out of us.

An elegant and contemporary solid oak veneer dresser, we love the synergy of colour between the dark shade of stain used for the oak and the moody deep blue known simply as “Railings” produced by our favourite paint manufacturers – Farrow and Ball.

The “Flowing Through” grain traveling down and through the oaken draw fronts really sets the piece apart for us. This is part of a furniture tradition that goes back hundreds of years used to visually link the separate pieces of one unit.

This project was headed by exceptionally talented workshop manager tom Suter seen here fine tuning the draw motions.
