In September 2021, during the global pandemic, they successfully hosted their flagship launch event at King’s Cross. Close to 6,000 people attended the event with 4,500 registered visitors walking through the Natural Living carbon neutral marquee, where more than 50 sustainable design brands were on show.
As their events programme develops, they are venturing closer to their home Wiltshire home (just down the road from our own studio and workshop) and spring 2022 see the first Planted Country event taking place…
Save our soil
With growing awareness of the need to protect land for future generations and the role it can play in mitigating climate risk, Planted Country’s six-part talks programme will explore why land matters for food, farming and nature.
The “Save Our Soil” talks programme will bring together leading thinkers in nature, design and food production covering topics from regenerative farming and why local design matters to considering how gardening can play a vital role in our bid to get to net zero.
Verve Festival
Verve Festival at Planted Country will advocate the ethos that true wellbeing goes beyond looking after ourselves: it includes how we take care of the people and natural world around us.
A variety of speakers including nutritionists, yoga and Qi Gong instructors and wellbeing consultants will come together to deliver a varied programme of workshops over three days focused on the development of mental, emotional and physical wellbeing, all rooted in the natural world.
Sustainable design & the beauty of botanicals
A carefully handpicked selection of items from proponents of sustainability in design and architecture brought together to exhibit and celebrate ‘Natural Living‘ will be on show.
Alongside this, the Botanical Market will showcase the beauty of botanicals with everything from uplifting fragrances for the home, bath, and body, contemporary ceramic art and pop-up pizza to fine single estate teas, artisanal honey spirits and pure new wool blankets.
