Bath Bespoke appointed for sizeable new build transformation
Posted by Bath Bespoke on 7 September 2022
Bath Bespoke, designers of luxury bespoke interiors, have started work on a significant new project in Cheshire following a successful international collaboration with renowned interior designer Laura McCree.
The impressive new-build property has been designed in detail by Laura and her experienced team. It stands on the site of an old demolished home, surrounded by beautiful farmland between Knutsford and Wilmslow. Bath Bespoke and Laura McCree are working closely, alongside highly-skilled lead contractor Bartholomew Homes on this exciting transformation project.
Bath Bespoke was first approached by Laura in 2021 to design all of the property’s internal cabinetry, joinery and flooring. Starting with the kitchen – a classic framed design combining solid European oak and painted hardwoods, complemented by light stone countertops and black ironmongery – Bath Bespoke specified a large Aga and Sub Zero appliances to bolster the room’s high-end look and feel.
Bath Bespoke’s artisan team of craftsmen built a neat, organised and impressive pantry for auxiliary food storage. They then moved onto the boot room, hallway display cabinetry and a fire feature wall on the ground floor. An upstairs utility room was designed in a modern country theme.
The interiors of all six bedrooms have been designed and crafted in a variety of styles, including high-gloss curve work. The feature bedroom is the master suite, a beautifully designed space that incorporates the use of reeded oak, antique mirrors and hand painted sections. With a curved bedhead and AV cabinet included at the foot of the bed for a concealed pop up TV, it is a luxurious and one-of-a-kind space.
Tom Jones-Marquez, Director & Co-Founder of Bath Bespoke, comments:
“This has to be one of our favourite residential projects to date. I’m incredibly proud of my team here on this one especially.
Working with Laura McCree is always really exciting. She has been one of the most in-demand designers in the world for two decades, and worked with so many top quality makers. To be her go-to cabinet and joinery makers is a privilege. We love her style and flair and enjoy the challenge of making her ideas tangible. She has great respect for the artisans she works with and we take the responsibility really seriously. Seeing now the fruits of a year of design work and making is a joy. We can’t wait for the lovely family to move into the house – and enjoy that long-promised swim in the indoor pool.”
