Why a Bath Bespoke floor?

Why a Bath Bespoke floor?

A timber floor holds many values. For centuries, it has been used in homes across the world because of its beauty, durability and versatility and that hasn’t changed. Timber is still the most highly regarded material, and every member of the Bath Bespoke team appreciates the beauty of wood and the workmanship that goes into turning this natural resource into stunning hardwood floors. From forest to workshop, to the finishing touches, all of the flooring that we supply and fit has been carefully chosen for its beauty and character.

But what has changed is our lifestyle. While solid wood flooring was once considered the finest option available, with the changing seasons and the use of modern heating and air conditioning, this is no longer the case. Non-engineered bespoke floors react badly to changes in temperature, and that’s why bespoke floors should be engineered where possible.

That’s why we specialise in supplying and fitting bespoke floors of engineered oak and walnut—both highly regarded for their stability and beautiful finish. Every board can be finished by our craftsmen in a range of finishes and we lay boards in an array of styles from plank, herringbone, chevron and square.

This all goes to make for a floor of the finest quality and character.

In-house fitting

Unlike other companies, in-house fitting comes as standard with all of our flooring. It always has done. That’s because it makes the process of choosing a floor a lot easier and less stressful for our clients, as our experienced craftsmen supply and fit your flooring in one easy step. Once fitted, we are always on hand to answer any queries you may have and this includes any aftercare and maintenance questions.

Natural products that nurture

We understand what treatments work best for what floors and we only use environmentally friendly products that nurture and protect the natural beauty of the timber. Find out more about the natural oil coating we use. It’s the first and only oil in the world that doesn’t contain VOCs or water and is completely environmentally friendly.

Protecting the environment is extremely important to us and all of our flooring is FSC® and PEFC® certified and sourced from old growth logs regarded for their perfect grain structure and colour.
