The Bath Bespoke team are motivated, dynamic and talented and, without exception, take great pride in their work. Some of our team have a high level of expertise and some are just starting out on their journey—but they stand united by a love of what they do.

James Etheridge, Bath Bespoke

James Etheridge – Director

James is a co-owner and founder of Bath Bespoke. James and Tom Jones-Marquez jointly run the business from Hartley Farm, Winsley between Bath & Bradford on Avon. James oversees production in the workshop and brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the team.

Tom Jones-Marquez – Director

Tom is co-owner and, together with James Etheridge, is a founder of Bath Bespoke. He’s the voice you are most likely to hear on the end of the phone and the person you’ll first meet when you get in touch.

Brett Salako. Bath Bespoke's general manager

Brett Salako – General Manager

As the general manager Brett Salako ensures everything runs smoothly in the workshop and the office. After working his way up to become the deputy manager at a five star hotel, Brett wanted to change his career direction and pursue his interest in the carpentry trade. He ensures every single project leaves our workshop with the highest standards of quality and design. It’s fantastic having Brett on the team. His organisation skills and can do attitude are invaluable to the team.

Tom Suter at Bath Bespoke

Tom Suter – Workshop Manager

Tom joined the Bath Bespoke team in October 2014 and is now the workshop team manager. Tom’s a really skilled craftsman – a graduate in furniture design and manufacture who has an enviable knowledge of timber, design and joints. He’s one of our most experienced members of staff so we task him with many of our bespoke kitchen commissions – making and fitting everything with his trademark attention to detail. He’s a really popular member of the team, a lovely guy to have around and very dedicated to his work.


Jess Gay – Marketing Manager

Jess joined the team in November 2016. After completing an English Literature course at the University of Exeter, she went on to work her way up in various marketing roles in the media industry. She’s now able to combine her experience in marketing and interest in interior design to help showcase our great work and craftsmen.


Natalie Anderson – Office Manager

It’s fantastic to welcome Natalie onto the team as Bath Bespoke’s office manager. After running her own textile company in London, Natalie relocated to the South West with her family. She has a keen interest in interior design, is incredibly organised and a joy to be around. Natalie will be helping organise our work flow from our newly refurbished office.


Kate Buckrell – Accountant

After graduating from Bristol University in an accountancy course, Kate went on to work at Wessex Water for seven years. After spotting our ad for a new accountant, she decided to pursue her interest in interior design and craft and came to join the team. She’s a fantastic team player and is a whizz kid at the mathematical side of the business.

Arkadius Kizevicius

Arkadiusz Wojcik – Joiner

Arkadiusz quit his job as a supermarket team leader to retrain in joinery and was recommended to us by the head of his department at his college. He has an in-depth understanding and fascination for working with wood and his passion for woodwork extends beyond the workshop to home DIY projects. It’s fantastic having such a committed joiner in the team.

Chris Fraser – Joiner

Chris joined the team in 2015. His career as a joiner began with an apprenticeship in a joinery workshop in Devon. Since then his skills have led him to work in London, followed by Bristol. He’s accurate and precise – qualities we love in our craftsmen. He’s extremely talented and creative and has fast become an invaluable member of the Bath Bespoke team.


Gareth Buckle – Joiner

Gareth joined the team in the summer of 2018. He’s an experienced joiner who was drawn to Bath Bespoke because of his passion for unique custom-made woodwork. After growing up in Prestbury near Cheltenham, he moved to Radstock 22 years ago and built a career in woodworking. Among other hobbies, Gareth loves to renovate and restore old Land Rovers – a hobby he also shares with his father.


Ben Boyce – Cabinet Maker

Ben is a highly skilled and conscientious cabinet maker. He blends traditional craftsman skills with modern concepts and designs and the projects he works on are always finished to the highest level. He is a highly valued member of the team and he always brings new ideas and solutions to the table.

Neil Castley at Bath Bespoke

Neil Castley – Cabinet Maker

Neil joined Bath Bespoke in 2015 and brings a lifetime of hands-on experience and valuable wisdom to the team in our busy workshop. As a school-leaver Neil took the traditional route into the trade with a five year apprenticeship as a cabinet maker. He then worked for many years making and fitting dental cabinets for a company in Ilford. Neil is a born and bred East Ender and only recently, along with his wife Sue, took the big step to leave London behind to live near their grandchildren in Wiltshire.


Ben Bowers – Site Carpenter

Ben hails from London where he project managed an interior design company. When he relocated to the south-west, it was a pleasure to welcome him to the team. He’s an extremely talented and experienced young carpenter and will most likely be our guy on the ground you meet when fitting furniture and joinery.


Dan Green – Site Carpenter

Dan joined Bath Bespoke in the summer of 2016. He trained locally with an on-site apprenticeship 17 years ago so brings with him a wealth of experience for the trade and the area. Dan is another member of the team you will most likely meet when your furniture is being installed. His knowledge and skills ensure every piece is fitted to perfection.


Lukasz Jastrebski – Paint Finisher

Lukasz joined our team in 2015 and is responsible for much of the prepping and sanding in the finishing department. He is an important member of the team because he has a fine eye for detail and works tirelessly to achieve a flawless finish on all our joinery and furniture.


Rob Borowski – Paint Finisher

Rob joined our team in 2016. Originally from Warsaw, Poland, he moved to the UK at the age of 14 and decided to follow his interest in carpentry after finishing college. Rob’s a really valued member of the team, and alongside Lukasz, he’s responsible for much of the prepping and sanding in the finishing department. Alongside his work, he loves listening to music and is a dab hand at playing the guitar.

Adam Paszyn at Bath Bespoke

Adam Paszyn – Spray Painter

Adam is an accomplished artist, specialising in pottery and oil paints, and his care and fine eye for detail comes through in his work for Bath Bespoke. Adam handles a lot of the workshop finishing for us and always gets the end result we’re looking for.


Richie Beaver – Apprentice

Richie joined our team in 2016 as an apprentice carpenter. After studying architecture at university, he then went onto manage bars for five years. He’s since returned to his interest in design and carpentry and is quickly learning the craft in a very hands-on way in the workshop. He’s an asset to the team, always a joy to work with and his work is always finished to the highest standard. Alongside his work, he loves riding motorcycles and reggae music.

Will Kelsall. Carpenter Apprentice

Will Kelsall – Site Carpenter

Will joined the team in 2016. He’s a fantastic young carpenter with a keen desire to improve his knowledge and skills. After finishing a carpentry course at college, Will went on to join his family gardening business. He’s now at Bath Bespoke and is proving a great asset around the workshop. His favourite project to date was a large period property renovation in Clifton, Bristol. The whole team worked hard to restore this townhouse to its former glory, and produced fantastic results.


Fred Rainey – Apprentice

Fred joined our team in 2015 as an apprentice carpenter. He’s learning the craft in a very hands-on way in our busy workshop where he loves being a part of the team. He’s enthusiastic and dedicated to his work; his ambition is to become the very best carpenter he possibly can. We really value him on the team.


Mark Jeffrey – Apprentice Cabinet Maker

Mark joined the team in the summer of 2018 as an apprentice cabinet maker. Originally from Leamington Spa, he moved to Bath to follow a career in tree surgery. After several years developing his skills on the job, he changed career and moved into woodworking – something he’s been passionate about since a young age. Alongside woodworking, Mark likes to play the drums in his spare time.
