    Double Glazing

    Double glazing offers a significant improvement in thermal efficiency, helping to reduce heat loss, improve comfort and minimise condensation. For period properties and conservation areas, we can specify slimline double-glazed units that preserve traditional sightlines and detailing while delivering enhanced performance.

    For most unlisted properties, we typically recommend modern double-glazed units that provide excellent insulation and long-term durability. Combined with acoustic glazing where appropriate, they can also significantly reduce external noise.

    Single Glazing

    Where planning restrictions or the character of a building make double glazing unsuitable, single glazing remains an effective option.

  • Self-Cleaning Glass

    Ideal for hard-to-reach windows, self-cleaning glass features a specialist coating that uses daylight to break down dirt and organic matter on the surface of the glass. When it rains, water spreads evenly across the pane, washing away debris and reducing the appearance of streaks and watermarks.

    The result is cleaner windows with less maintenance, making it a practical choice for contemporary homes and difficult-to-access elevations.

    Safety Glazing

    Safety glazing provides additional protection where impact resistance or building regulations require it. Available in both toughened and laminated forms, it is designed to minimise the risk of injury should the glass be damaged.

    Laminated glass remains bonded together if broken, while toughened glass is significantly stronger than standard glazing and breaks into small, less hazardous fragments. Depending on the application, safety glazing can also offer enhanced security, acoustic performance and thermal efficiency.
