Handcrafted energy-saving windows of the highest quality.
Our casement windows
Casement windows tend to be of two types: modern, with square edge mouldings and large panes, or classic with period mouldings and glazing bars and finished in satin colours. Our casement windows can be crafted in both genres using traditional methods and cutting edge glazing and draught proofing technologies.
We only use hardwood or Accoya® for our casement windows, which means we can offer up to fifty year guarantees on our work. Our glass options are wide ranging and we are able to achieve U values as low as 1.0. For homes in conservation areas we use specialist 11mm thick glass that is generally approved by English Heritage. We source all of our ironmongery from UK designers, including latches and casement window hinges.
With all of our windows, we have a commission minimum of three. Unfortunately, we are unable to take on any project smaller than this.
Living in a listed building
We understand that living in a listed building can come with its difficulties, not least the regulations over double glazing. To make the process easier for you, we can advise on council regulations and help you to submit any planning applications.See our short guide on getting to grips with the regulations and the necessary steps to altering your sash windows.
We’ve worked on properties ranging from Grade I listed buildings to new builds, and our work with local conservation groups has seen us restore some of the UK’s finest buildings including: The Royal Crescent, The Circus and Bath Abbey. We value our heritage and are making great progress in future proofing it.
